Mens 4s v Eastcote 4s 12.11.16 Match Report

Matt Neville, Seb Fox, Andy Wynd, Huw Tasker, Paul Tappin

A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far, away… A vast sea of stars serves as the backdrop for the main title. War drums echo through the heavens as a rollup slowly crawls into infinity. It is a period of civil war. Oxford spaceships, striking from a hidden base, have won their first victory against the evil Eastcote Empire. During the battle, Matt “Oakey” Oakes managed to steal secret plans to the Empire’s ultimate weapon, the Matt Neville’s huge mouth, a cavernous orifice with enough power to destroy an entire planet. Pursued by the Eastcotes sinister agents, Andy Wynd races home aboard his starship, custodian of the stolen plans that can guide Oxford to a commending and place at the top of the table and restore freedom to the galaxy… The awesome green Astro of Eastcote emerges from a dark 4.30 start, her two umpires glowing against the darkness. An Australian who only owns one shirt, shouts instructions to his ageing defence, and somehow gets MOM…inexplicable. It is pursed by a giant Imperial Stardestroyer. Hundreds of deadly laserbolts streak from the Imperial Stardestroyer, causing the main solar fin of the Rebel craft to disintegrate. I got lazy and couldn’t be bothered to be creative. We won 5-0. Played pretty poorly. Top of the table.

DOD Guy Tasker.
