Paid Administration Role within Oxford Hockey Club

Given the size of the club, and the need to focus willing volunteers on the playing element of the club, the committee has decided to advertise for one (or two) paid administrators to undertake those back-office roles necessary to keep the club functioning effectively.

Accordingly, if you (or someone you know) is interested in undertaking this role, which will commence at the beginning of June, please contact Paul Wilson by the end of the month. He will be pleased to provide much more information.

The role will evolve but initially will include such things as:

  • Pitch bookings and allocations for juniors and seniors
  • Membership subscriptions and database management
  • Organisation of the annual Rover Junior Festival and another junior tournament.

The person interested will be self-motivated, have good administration skills and attention to detail, will work from home, on their own computer, at a time to suit themselves, on a self-employed basis.

The time commitment is estimated to be initially about 200 hours in total over the period from June to March.
