Why not play mixed hockey?
Rover Oxford mixed games are all friendlies, and tend to take place in and around Oxford on Sunday afternoons during the winter season.
Matches are open to anyone of any ability – it doesn’t matter which Saturday side you normally play for, as the emphasis is always on having fun, enjoying the hockey, and socialising afterwards.
Teams must have 5 women and 5 men outfield players at all times and the goalie can be either gender.
Fixtures for the winter have now been arranged and are here, with the first game scheduled for Sunday 2nd October. We play mixed in red shirts and red socks (the Rover colours) so it saves you sacrificing your Saturday night frantically washing your kit. If you’d like to play mixed, either contact the captain, Tim Conlon, or fill out the form on the Join us page.
