Our U14 boys get to play in Tier 1 and Tier 2 of the South Central Hockey League. Tier 1 is really tough but a great challenge for the boys. We are still very happy to welcome new players into the group at this age but we are also very proud of the high number of boys selected to play AC ( Oxfordshire ) hockey. A number of them have been selected a year early to join the U15 Regional South Central Performance Squads. The boys are encouraged to join men's training as soon as they turn 13. Our adult coaches specialise in creating a welcoming environment for the 13 year olds and the development opportunities in playing with these groups are fantastic. We have boys from the U14s playing in a wide range of men's teams and they always make a great impact. It is also great for father/son combinations on the pitch at this age. The dads will soon get left behind though.
