6. Covid 19 Procedures


COVID-19 MATCH DAY INFORMATION FOR HOME AND AWAY CAPTAINS

Oxford players
If you develop symptoms while playing:
– Leave the session immediately and go home as quickly as possible.
– Inform John Dykes (Oxford COVID Officer; or 07786 548188)
If you develop symptoms after playing:
– Inform John Dykes (Oxford COVID Officer; or 07786 548188)
Away players
If you have symptoms while playing against Oxford:
– Leave the session and go home as quickly as possible.
– Inform your COVID Officer who will inform the Oxford COVID Officer.
If you have symptoms after playing against Oxford:
– Inform your COVID Officer who will inform the Oxford COVID Officer.

PRE ARRIVAL
– NO SPECTATORS (this includes photographers) due to current government guidelines; parents of junior players may watch the match from outside the perimeter fence of the Astro – in small groups no larger than six persons.
– England Hockey “Advice for Participants” can be found here, which must be followed by all players.
– In order to comply with the measures in place, please do not arrive for your fixture too early.
– Teams will gain access to the pitch 30 minutes before push-back time and can meet by the dugouts inside the Astro perimeter fence before the game.
– Away team Covid officer must record away team player data.
– Please park in at Oxford Brookes Headington Hill Hall site, 2 hours free parking; please
follow the instructions at the parking meter.
– There are hand sanitiser points available on entry and exit to the Astro, but please
also bring your own.

UPON ARRIVAL
– Please use the hand sanitiser on entry and keep your distance once inside the perimeter fence.
– There are no changing rooms in use.
– Toilets are available in the Brookes Sports Centre – please follow the one-way system signage.
– Oxford players please sign in via one of the three QR codes locations at the Astro entrance.

POST MATCH
– After your match please exit through the middle side gate of the Astro to avoid contact
with waiting teams.
