Todays game was definitely a game of two halves.

First half we played well, unfortunately, the boys were caught off guard; Hawks showed off some impressive (Oxford style) aerials that created their goal scoring opportunities. There was some great saves from the goalie and some impressive defensive play from our back line, unfortunately it wasn’t enough, first half finished with a score line of 6-0

The second half saw our boys coming into their stride. They calmed things down and started to display some true Hockey skills, this saw things open up for them enabling them to create space for some great passes which lead some real good chances. We were able convert in the D, giving us a few short-corners, however we were unable to convert them into goals.

That didn’t stop us, we continued to push which lead to our first goal from Diarmuid. Our second goal came from penalty flick which was converted by TJ.
