On a surprisingly warm October afternoon, Oxford Women's 4s faced a tough game against Leighton Buzzard 3s, who presented a strong defensive lineup.

The first half saw Oxford taking a commanding lead with goals from Ellie Gilroy and newcomer, Hannah Finney, who executed a delightful lift on a penalty flick. In the last 5 minutes of the first half, Hannah added another goal to her tally, followed shortly by a goal from Leighton Buzzard.

The second half saw a Leighton Buzzard goal disallowed, while Oxford continued to dominate with numerous short corners. Martha secured a fourth and final goal for the 4s.

Hannah's brilliant debut performance for Oxford earned her Player of the Match, while Georgie Lewis was awarded Donkey of the Day because of a green card for distance given. A final score of 4-1 to Oxford Women’s 4s adds another win to the 4s’ unbeaten streak and contributed to an outstanding day of wins across the Women’s teams for Oxford Hockey Club.
